Dark Orb Art Basel Closing Party by Algorhythm x Antisocial NY

Algorhythm is proud to announce joining forces with New York Anti- Social to bring you a proper Art Basel closing. Just when you thought basel was over , ehh wrong answer! This unique banger will take place Monday December 11th. We took advantage of the opportunity everyone taking off work anyways and so many people in town to enjoy the magic Miami has to offer. We wanted to be able to showcase these special chosen artists where all focus is on them.
Warming up outside in the Patio early with some proper house/tech house preparing for an All Techno showcase upstairs in the Bolero room. This is an event not to miss as each artist shares their exceptional talent for this one of a kind closing, all coming from different places with unique and irreplaceable techniques/styles of music.

Alexander , Born in Colombia and currently in NYC, concentrates on sound engineering, mastering sound synthesis and constantly exploring the realms of musical experimentation. He has become infatuated with analog synths where he explores alternate sounds while utilizing a diverse range of machines and instruments. Exploring different frequencies has become routine and embedded in the subconscious where Alexander Gentil sets out his vision of minimalist design.
Alexander has launched his new record label by the name of ERRANT Recordings- meaning to err or stray away from the norm. Errant wishes to divert to a different direction than what is currently trending or popular and merge the sounds of his and other artists who share a similar outlook and perception.

Working tirelessly over the years to shape the perfect sound for his vision, Armando blends cinematic elements with melodic house and techno to convey the emotions and energy that characterize the concept. Banging beats, intricate percussion, melodies, and atmospheric sounds are always present in his sets and productions. Influenced by a vast array of the most talented artists, Armando has mastered how to efficiently guide listeners through a sonic odyssey from both the studio and the booth.

Like the city he calls home, New York’s own Ody Roc –also known as “Audio KoDe”- never seems to slow down. Behind the decks his energy level is infectious, allowing him to connect with audiences in a way other DJs only dream of. Whether dropping the latest house bombs in the world’s top dance clubs, headlining exclusive industry parties, or unleashing insane turntablist tricks at sold-out stadium tours, Ody’s passion for music and making people dance has been part of his life for as long as he can remember.

Producer, DJ and Engineer Bryan Estefani grew up with influences from a myriad of artists. With these influences, he dove head first into Dj’ing and producing electronic music. He perfected his craft and quickly became a staple in the underground music scene in his hometown. In 2016, he caught the eye of ALX. ALX recognized the talent and drive Bryan had and signed him to his Label “Descend Records”. Behind the decks and through his productions Bryan Estefani creates a unique and intimate vibe that is deeply rooted in the original principles of what house music is all about!

NYC’s tech house ambassador Charles Meyer has a natural aptitude for giving party-goers not just what they want, but also what they need. His approach towards DJing elucidates the notion that the purpose of house music is not just to make you dance, but also to inform your ever-evolving interpretation of the world and send you down a path of transformation and bliss. Charles’ original productions draw from this same vision and consistently catch the attention of those who look for higher levels of integrity in music.

Ruiz , Detroit producer and DJ currently runs Cultured Citizens, his own music-releasing platform, label, and production company. He’s also the mastermind behind the Old Miami’s celebrated Sunday day parties, a summer favorite in Detroit for the past five years. Recently joining the Modified Artists roster, Ruiz continues to explore new ventures and give back to Detroit, building his career and sound around the city that shaped his passion for live music.

There are DJs who play records. There are DJs who blow minds. If you have been fortunate enough to experience Eric Harary live then you will agree that he is part of the latter. A self-taught drummer/musician hailing from Brooklyn, NY, who picked up DJing from his older brother, his musical roots are based in jazz-rock fusion, funk, industrial, experimental and world music; later progressing into electronic dance and its culture by early 2000. His sets are littered with his own productions, private edits, rare acapellas, and even rarer cuts, his style can be described as deep, dark, raw, hard, soulful, and seductive filled with emotion, intensity and relentless energy.

Jonathan Prata, young and talented dj is a natural born artist. Only playing over a year, Jonathan is quickly rising to the top with the likes of bigger names in the underground scene. He engulfs himself in his music and takes listeners on a ride full of energy and emotion. He can play anything from deep house to Techno, while being able to effectively read and entertain the crowd. Jonathan spends much time researching new music, and constantly adapting to the demands of the scene.
